I have so many summer dress in my wardrobe! I’m sure you do too. Ones you didn't get to wear at that.
With our restrictions easing I am already dreaming about how I am going to wear them [to brunch my the babes].
In this post I will show you how to wear your summer dresses throughout winter.
I haven’t bought anything new (apart from a sassy lounge wear sets and workout clothes), so reinventing is a good way to start!
First you will need:
1. Layers - singlet and a long sleeve top
2. Summer dress
3. Jacket (from last year)
4. Accessories - belt, necklaces and sunglasses
5. Knee-high tan boots (these are new Chlöe, I may have splurged)
The great thing about this look is you can layer up [underneath] and on top. Put on your singlet and then your long sleeve top. Add the warm under your summer dress and build from there.
Try this with all your short summer dresses. Add black tights and ankle boots.
For added warmth:
Add thick opaque stockings, then slide on your boots. If you need more warmth, slide on a knitted jumper.
There your set, warm and looking tres chic!
Don't buy new winter dresses. Reinvent the summer dresses you have. I missed out on wearing so many lovely ones due to COVID-19.
Layer up and if you choose to buy, invest in high quality knits, with a mix of merino wool and cotton.
