A night with Microsoft: Event recap, where you have to stay and more

Feeling so incredibly blessed this week! Looking back at all the events that I have attended, hosted and modelled for – WOW. I'm thanking my lucky stars!

Anyway, this blog post is about my night with Microsoft, where I stayed and everything in between. I love sharing new products, and places to experience for yourself. Here goes.

I love visiting Sydney! Who doesn’t – but I could never live there.

My day kicked off with travelling to Sydney, a few meetings (to plan for my next venture Sorted) THEN checking in to my home away from home Ovolo Hotel (1888 Darling Harbor). You might find me and my daughter at the Ovolo Hotel Canberra on our mummy and daughter dates.

If you want bespoke, quirky and unique in a hotel. The Ovolo Hotel is for you, I have stayed here before but I still caught myself admiring each piece of furniture and looking behind every corner.

The exposed concrete walls and sexy bar, Mister Purcey's will have you enjoy some pinchos and a couple of glasses of your fave drop.

Accompanied by unlimited lollies at reception (when you need a sugar hit), Pommery champagne and handwritten card! Who even does this anymore? Only Ovolo!

Microsoft Launch event

Being part of the Surface AU family allows me to connected to a very special group of content creators. From Photographers, mummy bloggers and AMAZING entrepreneurs.

7:15pm – I arrive a little stressed, my OLA cancelled my ride and I had to walk to get to him (in HEELS!).

Where: Beta Bar, Castleregh Street *Have you ever been to the Beta bar? If you haven’t, you should pin it to your ever growing Pinterest board of places to have a drink at AND GO.

For: The Microsoft reveal!! The Microsoft family from all over Australia were invited to be the first in Australia to experience their latest innovations from Surface that are anything but ordinary.

Luckily, when I got in the elevator I got the chance to compose myself and get my IG stories going!

*Breathe out.

We had to arrive there 7:15pm sharp with the Microsoft brand presentation kicking off. With waiters holding trays of Negronis and Espresso Martini's, I snatched myself an Espresso Martini.

The hunt of my crew began. From Bianca, Daisy, Allison, Katherine and Debbie, my Surface family were here! And we all have cocktails in hand! SOOO bloody good to see them all and see what they have been up too.

It was so nice to see some new faces and be introduced to all the latest and greatest Surface has to offer! While watching their video, I felt like I was watching a Star Wars episode!

One of their newest members, a laptop is lighter and faster than any other product they have released AND I can't wait to get my hands on one!

Microsoft sure no know how to put on a party! So proud to be part of the Microsoft family and share their latest innovations. I loved hearing the guest speakers talk about how advanced their technology is (it has inspired me to apply for their surface creator fund - which is $15,000). Now to come up with a sweet idea!
