What I Wore: A Lover of White and Lace

My obsession for white continues… It’s also timely for the pretty and delicate feels of the Meraki show last Sunday. I am hooked, a fashion show oozing local style, bubbles, live music by Danny Pratt With Love on A Sunday – you got me!

I’m calling it, Meraki is Canberra’s NEW favourite fashion show it’s a venture by two local girls, Maryanne and Bianca. One that will be back for 2020! I can’t wait. A huge congratulations to the ladies who nailed it!! So proud of you Maryanne.

Sometimes, well most of the time, (let’s face it) I let my accessories do the talking, earrings, bags or shoes. I. love. to. accessorising.

My white Lover the Label dress is the perfect base. Catapulting it with my Nine West pink heels, Valentino bag and My Statement celestial earrings (available at Müssen)

When you start with your accessories first, it switches it up how you style an outfit. It forces you think differently.

I encourage you all to try it! Start with a pair of statement shoes or earrings and use a simple dress (all one colour) as a base. It’s fun! I also LOVE doing this with make-up, breaking it down to lips of eyes.
